Get to know your neighbors the Plaehn way

The Rev. Holle Plaehn, longtime pastor at Peace Lutheran Church of Tacoma and now retired, has published a book of his inspirational reflections and stories called "Door To Door - With Jesus - In Jesus - Through the Lord Jesus - the Messiah.” The book offers practical instruction on sharing the Good News through calling on neighborhood residents. Plaehn knocked on doors many thousands of times back when the Hilltop was plagued by gangs. It costs $15, with all proceeds benefiting programs at Peace. Send book requests to Peace at 2106 S.
